A CTS, Certified Tea Specialist with the Specialty Tea Institute, the facilitator of Tea Trade Mart is Jennifer Petersen.
She is also the director of Tea Experts Academy. She has been a member of STI since APTI (American Premium Tea Institute) and ST*R combined to become STI.
In the tea business for over 18 years as a tea blender and retail/wholesale business owner, Ms. Petersen also owned a tea & gift shop and restaurant for over nine years.
Ms. Petersen is a professional speaker and trainer and is recommended by the Specialty Tea Institute.
She conducts on-site training and motivational seminars for corporations and associations.
She is a consultant on tea etiquette, business and social etiquette and international protocol.
A supporter of the Specialty Tea Institute, she served on the 2004-2007 STI Tea Advisory Board, chaired the 2005 STI Tea Symposium in Seattle, Washington and is a current member of the STI Tea Advisory Board. She served on the STI Education Committee while Foundations of Tea Level I and II were formulated.
A perpetual trainer and volunteer at STI Foundations of Tea classes, you may see her at the back of the room as she assists with tea Q&A and with training setup and delivery at trade shows and events.
She is a member of the Specialty Tea Institute, Mid Atlantic Tea Business Association, Hawaii Tea Society, National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs and Women Entrepreneurs Organization.
